James William Overton

I am trying to find information on my adopted grandparents. James William Overton and Emma Marie Pantling Overton. They resided in Grayling in 1912 according to my grandmother's passenger record. I was told as a child that they owned 3 movie houses in the area.Grandpa was born abt 1880 and grandma in 1878, both in England. Grandpa immigrated abt 1901 and in 1903 my grandmother, unmarried, destination wasmy grandfather in Chicago. In July 1901, Robert Major Overton(brother), and in Sept 1901 John William Overton (father),destination was Meddville Pa, where my grandfather lived on New Main St according to their passenger records.

I'm not sure if all 3 movies houses were in Grayling or not, 1 might of been in Gaylord. My granmother was also a member of the Grayling chapter No 83 OES. I don't know what that is.
