Where to send for marriage record

Need some input.

In some old original records of births and deaths among family papers, I found that my 3rd gt grandparents Ralph J. COATS & Amanda Nancy WOOD had hand written that they were married 14 May 1845 Unadilla Michigan. Can anyone tell me where I would send to get a copy of their marriage record?
