NASH and PENNINGTON families - INFO NEEDED
I have found my WILLIAM NASH on the 1860 US Census Records in the Kelly Township, Carter County, Missouri. He shows being 57 years of age, born 1802, in North Carolina.
He is listed with:
PHRONIA NASHage 22born Illinois
PERSON NASHage 14born Illinois
JOHNATHAN NASHage 12born Illinois
VIANNA NASHage 2born Missouri
They are living next door to a JASPER PENNINGTON
age 25, school teacher, born Missouri
Listed with Jasper is:
Linda Penningtonage 18born Missouri
Margaret NASHage 55born Kentucky
Jackson NASHage 12born Missouri
Sally NASHage 9born Missouri
I am trying to find out any further information, of any kind, on my WILLIAM NASH.I know that he was living in Montgomery County, Illinois, in 1850.
That he had children there by his first marriage.
WAS PHRONIA as second wife???Were these other children his as well???
Were they related to the MARGARET NASH who is living next door with JASPER
I know for a fact that VIANNA NASH, age 2, in 1860, and another sister ELVIRA NASH born between 1867 and 1870, are found in the home of the eldest son of William's, Wright Nash, on the 1870 US Census Records, in Verdigis,
Kansas.DID WILLIAM and PHRONIA die in the late 1860s???What about the other children???
I would also like any information on the family of JASPER PENNINGTON, school teacher, listed next door, in 1860.
Any help would be very much appreciated. This family has been my brick wall for years.
