Surely William's wife wouldn't have just made up George's name out of thin air for the death certificate?If she wasn't sure, wouldn't she have put "unknown" just as she did for Ida/Ada?
It's a mystery, for sure.And I found a couple of entries on WorldConnect that say William's parents were Thomas and Ellen Mullen.I don't think that's right - Thomas and Ellen were in Tuscola Co., MI in 1880 and they already had a son named William, age 2.
What could have happened to William's parents for him to be on his own so early?And just out of curiosity, why did he die so young?
