Harrison's In santa Rosa County, Florida...
I am looking for information on William washington Harrison,(married Ann Mariah cotten), from Santa Rosa County, Florida. I have census information from 1850 to 1880. I was told his family came from Virginia and his father's name may have been Lewis Harrison. W.W. Harrisons birth was 1813, death 1886.
According to research , W.W.Harrison had about 10 kids, one being E.b. Harrison in 1859.
E.b. married Callie Stanford in Alabama. They had Mittie Leona, ( md. Magaha),Edward Andrew ,(Md. Viola Pearl Tryan, NB.), and Albert W. Harrison. I cannot find E.B. and his family anywhere on census until 1930, by then he was back in Santa Rosa County. I believe E.B. may have been sent to live with relatives during the civil war in Alabama somewhere.
Edward Andrew Harrison left Santa Rosa County for a short period of time, (around the 1917 draft period) and wound up in Nebraska where he married Viola Pearl tryan,(1st marriage was to a Hook), in Cherry County, 1922. I am also looking for info on Viola Pearl's family and history. they are back in Santa Rosa County in the 1930 census living next door to E.B. and Callie Harrison. Edward Andrew and Albert were issed draft notices in Santa Rosa County in 1917, but only Albert went into the service. This tells me both boys were Santa Rosa County prior to 1920.
I would love to speak with anyone researching this family with photos, stories, or information.
Thank you in advance for any responses to this post...
