John Campbell, Hello!
I happened to notice your mention of Lizzie CAMPBELL Clark's burial and wondered if there might be a connection to this group?Do you know?
Reason, I ask---I think this Samuel CAMPBELL married my g gf eldest sister either in NE or in AR where they later lived in Hot Springs, AR in Garland Co., AR. Do you think there could be any connection?

1880 USFedCensus NE, Clay (Co.),Scott (Twp.)
Samuel Chatterson 28<1852>head Fmr md Canada/Canada/Canada
Alice Chatterson 23<1857>wife KpHs md Swt Swt Swt
Effie Chatterson2<1878>dauNE Canada Swt.
Samuel Sr. Chatterson 83<1797>father Cooper wd Canada/Canada/Canada
Samuel CAMPBELL 18<1862>nephew FmLbr Canada/Ireland/Canada

Could Samuel be connected to those you seek???
I believe that he immigrated to AL first and may have gained citizenship there (from later census records, not confirmed)

I believe this Samuel Campbell to have married my g gf's eldest sister, Mary Pearl Johnson b. 1872 Iowa--the Johnson father, an immigrant from Denmark and mother from IL or IA. For information about later Samuel & Mary Johnson Campbell see my post at Garland Co., AR. They lived in Hot Springs, AR where Samuel Campbell was a butcher and looks like later owned a grocery on Grand Ave.
Please let me know if you think there is a connection!
