Re: Gast in Spring Creek, Harlan CO. NE. 1880

Shirley, I did a search for Spring Creek, NE and got a map showing it NE of Stamford or between Oxford and Orleans between the river and Hwy 89.There is no town there now and hasnt been for many years. it is very close to another extinct town that was named Carter.I grew up in this area and it does seem that I have heard the name.I'll ask next time I'm back there.
