I see your query concerning James Carl Moore, I am not related but thought I might see if I could find out something about the family;
You evidently have his 1917 draft card information, and death record in California. I find him on the census records married to Cecelia A. 1910, '20 and '30.in California. Did you find him in 1900? I find a Carl Moore b Jan 1888 age 12 and a brother Frank b Jan 1891 age 9 in Lincoln NE at school at the "Home of Friendless". Which might be him. I also found the 1917 draft card for Frank Leo Moore, and his census record 1920 & 1930. If any of this would help I can sent it along. If you have other clues by this time, that might help, post them and we will see what else we can find.Howard Boswell
