I checked out the 1885 Nebraska Census for John Moore and wife Nancy that were listed in 1880. It is possible he was remarried by 1885, Alma, Harlan County

John M Moore b abt 1849 Illinois age 36 listed on M352_26 page 3
Mary J. Moore b abt 1855age 30 same number
PearleMooreage 10same number
I entered Myrtle but no luck there. Perhaps she died??
