Researching to find any relatives or friends of Robert Lee JASA (1923-1943) the son of Joseph & Josephine (?) JASA of Saunders Co., NE. Siblings listed:Benjamin, Alfred, Paul, Libbie, Ruben, Rosa and Alma. [1930 Census] In 1920 this same family is found in MN, Kittson Co., Davis Twp.Family members can be found in the Czech Presbyterian Cem., in Chapman Twp., Saunders Co., NE.
Robert Lee JASA was a Machinist's Mate, 3rd Class aboard the submarine USS WAHOO that was sunk during WWII, in Oct. 1943, Northern Japan.He is listed from Wahoo, NE. He is also listed under Personel From Oregon in the States Summary of War Casualties.
