Lindgren, Anderson Families from Wahoo?
Seeking information on the family of Anders (Andrew) Lindgren, married to Charlotte (Caroline?) and Carl Anderson, married to Caroline and Hulda Lindgren.
Anders and Charlotte Lindgren came from Sweden via Knox Co., IL. They lived in the Wahoo area until some time after 1905, when they moved to the Boyd Co., NE/Gregory Co., SD area. They are buried in an old Swedish graveyard, more recently known as the Messiah Lutheran Church graveyard, Baker, Boyd Co., NE. Their children were:
Gustaf, married Angelina Hoaglund in Boyd Co., NE, buried with either his parents or her parents in the Messiah Lutheran graveyard. The graves are unmarked.
Caroline and Hulda - Carl Anderson married Caroline, then Hulda after Caroline died.
Annie - married Simon Nordquist, and may be buried with their child in Frontier Cemetery, Sutherland, Lincoln Co., NE,
Charles A. Lindgren, born: 24 Feb 1871, Knoxville, Knox Co., IL. married Wilhelmina Skogland - they lived near Sutherland NE for a while, then moved back to the Wahoo area to be near their relatives before moving to SD.
Jennie - married Swan Goran - lived in Fairfax, SD
Frank & Carl - names taken from 1880 US census - may or may not belong to this family. Carl may be another name for Charles, who doesn't appear in the census.
Anders apparently had a brother, "Ed", who homesteaded in or near Gregory County, SD. Arthur Edward Lindgren may have been his son. Due to a border dispute between Nebraska and the new state of South Dakota, the farm of Arthur Edward Lindgren was finally placed on the Boyd County, Nebraska side of the state line.
In addition to Carl Anderson, this branch of the Lindgren family supposedly began when an Anderson took his wife's name of Lindgren.
I would appreciate information on these individuals and their relatives.
