Thomas J. Page,Orford, Pompanoosic, VT.
Looking for background of Thomas J. Page who died August 1, 1881 in Orford, NH and is burried at the Dame Hill Cemetary, Orfordville, NH.I am not able to make any connection with the Pages of Hampton, or anywhere else for that matter.Children were: Thomas J., Franklin B., Elizabeth Heath, Wilbur B., Seth M., Freeman G., Charles Wellman, Martin V., Raymond J.He was married twice,, First to Elizabeth Smith and then to Susan Baker.Since TJ died in 1881 and grave says he was 58, I assume he would have been born around 1823.
Family tradition says 2 things, 1. He came from England or 2. was the son of Native Americans possibly brought from Canada.

Bottom line is I can't find him other than locating a will in Grafton County a number of years ago.Death Certificate does not list any parents. My g-g-gf, Charles Wellman,TJ"S son stated that TJ lived in the mountains and traveled about selling horses that he bred. He also said that they went to town only twice a yearto sell horses or to buy supplies.Anyone out there that can help?
