All I have on his death is from New Orleans, Louisiana Public Library, a notice to the voters reg. death Died 5/12/1927 Charity Hospital, New Orleans, LA.I am unable to locate a death certificate on him in the state of LA.
When Uncle Andrew was still living he told me Otto left Jackson co.in 1927 and went to Hammond, LA to go to work, all he had he took with him in a wagon pulled by a mule. Many years after Uncle Andrew passed away I found that Otto had owned 40 acres in Lucedale, MS and 3 lots also in Lucedale, MS.I found where E.D. Obrien Paid the taxes in 1929. Some one paid the taxes in 1930, Says received of Otto Moesch and in 1931 the paid taxes have (Est). Paid by William Wedig 1932 also paid by Wm. Wedig 1933.William Wedig owned the land now and in 5/25/1955 William Wedig died, place of death New Orleans Cardiac failure.
I would sure like to find out where Otto is buried, it has haunted me for over 20 years.I can't seem to find any place where he is buried, maybe charity hospital cemetery?I can't find anything on that either except that it exist and the indigent and the bodies donated to science are buried there, but there seems to be no list of names of the buried.I need some help and don't know where to look further.
