Marriage of J.M. McLennan; Buffalo, 1900

Hello,

I am looking for information on my great-grandfather, John Michael McLennan.

According to his obit, he was born in Cornwall, Ontario (1858) and died in Brockville, Ontario (1921).Somewhere between 1899 and 1902, he lived for 2 years in Buffalo, New York working as a carpenter building the Pan-American Exposition.

In that same period, he married my great-grandmother, Edith Rhoda Baldwin b. 1878, d. 1956 (the name Popejoy is also mentioned - possibly a previous marriage).

Since I cannot find any reference to their marriage in church or civil records in Ontario, my guess is they were married in or near Buffalo.

If someone has access and the time, I would appreciate it if you could do a quick search for these two names in the years 1899 to 1903.
