The original St.John's Hospital was in Long Island City, possible on courthouse square but then moved to Queens Blvd. Elmhurst,N.y.
where the old Horace Harding Hospital was located. My sister was a student nurse in training in St. John's L.I.N.Y. that was in the early 40's.
IT Could Be possible that when the census was taken that they were students living there in 1907 That it was a Nursing School then and the students were living there.
I was born in this hospital in 1943.
I had my appendix out in this hospital in 1953 and it was still in Long Island City at the time. My guess is that it moved over in the late 50's.I have a phone book with the address of St.John's Hospital, 90-02 QUEENS BLVD. ELMHURST,N.Y.11373
718-457-1300 TELEPHONE HOPE THIS HELPS
