I just looked again at my records & realized I'd made a mistake. :(

I have no birth for John Merrill, but do have a death date of 1743. He was married to a Geertruyd Simonson who was born in 1682 on Staten Island. They had a dau named Geertruyd who was born abt 1726 and died young.

Perhaps my John & yours are the same!
