I too have had problems with finding info before Samual A. Westphall.I know he was born in Port Arther Nelson, Canada on April 27, 1946. His wife was Bedelia Shauahnessy.His son John Frederick Westphall married Mary Louis KNAPP Dec. 9,1885.They had 12 children, Vera, Irma, Irl, Guela, Fred, Freida, Lenora, Johnny, Audrey (my grandmother), Alice, Byron, and a still birth.Audrey married John Charles Freemont Wheatley.They had six children, Forrest, Eldon, Viola (my mother), Art, Veda, aand Oscar.My mom married Thomas Guy Harry Shurtleff, one son, Donals Harry.
