Who was living at this hoouse in 1903?

Is there a way of finding out who lived at 292 West End Avenue New York in March 1903. My grandfather ,John Ingram, has written on the Mongolian's manifest which arrived in New Yorkfrom Glasgow on 14th March 1903 cousin, but no name.I have not found any other members of the extended family in New York at this time.
I did try the census for 1900 but was unsure where to look.
Any help would be appreciated.
