Re: DeMarti obituaries New York 1900-1999

I am looking for a Maritti that married a Jesse Rice in Pa.All we know is that she was Italian and that they married in or about 1799.When I saw the DeMarti, I was wondering if this could possibly be connected and that maybe someone just called her Miss Maritti, because they couldn't pronounce her name and it stuck.Any information would be appreciated.Thanks Betty
