Re: John Adams, VA & OH, late 1700s-early 1800s

Further research and analysis have led me to focus on a John Adams who received a land grant on Back Creek in northwestern Frederick County, Virginia, in 1775.Although he was probably too old to have been the John Adams of the initial query, he may have been a relative, perhaps even the father of the John Adams who migrated to Clark County.Any information specific to this John Adams, especially that which is not readily available on line, will be much appreciated.Thank you.
