Re: Daniel and Samuel Mullen

This may solve your Samuel Mullen mystery.I found, in the 1850 census of Warren Twp Trumbull Co OH (which is very near Columbiana Co OH) the following:

Samuel Mullen born abt 1817 in PA, age 33. With him was Betsey Mullen age 20, also born PA.

I then checked the 1860 census of same Twp and Co and found listing for S. Mullen, male age 42, born PA.
