John and Margaret Thomas -- early history

John Thomas who married Margaret -- early Columbiana
Some of my Thomas line claim this John as one of theirs. Our John was thought to have married Jemima Miller. He was born about 1747 in Culpeper Co., VA -- then to what is now Washington/Greene Co., PA area -- to KY for a short while and then to Adams Co., OH before Columbiana Co., OH. Our Thomas family names are very similar to the names give for John of Columbiana, John, Michael, Henry, Samuel, Margaret, Catherine. Is there any possibility that these are one and the same John. Our line is will documented by DNA results. If anyone can prove a direct male line, I would be interested in helping finance a DNA to prove/disprove this relationship. Take care. Marilyn Thomas Hansen
