I discovered yesterday that the orphanage was actually named Hare Children's Home and Asylum.It was originally located at 72 Woodland Ave. in Columbus, but it "outgrew its surroundings" and in 1902 it was moved to a new building located at 2104 Tuller St. in Columbus.It supposedly remained in operation until the 1940's.In 1910 there were 4 adults and 27 children (all between the ages of 4-10).They are listed below.
