I have rcvd a copy of a small portion of a page of the "Columbus Citzen Journal", Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, dated June 4, 1916. The page surely contains more obtuaries but these are the 7 on the portion of the page that I have:
THOMAS M. HARRIS
Thomas Marion Harris, 70, retired
contractor, died of infirmities Sun-
day, at his home, 207 East Eleventh
avenue.His wife, six sons and two
daughters survive. Funeral arrange-
ments in charge of the H. A. Pletcher
company.
MRS. ELECTRA J. DUNNICK
Mrs. Electra J. Dunnick, 89, widow
of W. H. Dunnick, died of compleca-
tions Sunday at her gome, 103 East
Lincoln street. One son, William S.
Dunnick, 97 East Lincoln steet, four
grandchldren and two great grand-
children survive. Funeral services
at the residence of her son at 2 p.
m. Tuesday. Burial in Green Lawn
by the H. A. Pletcher company.
FRANK J. RATH
Frank J. Rath, 22, bookkeeper for
the Eaton Machine works, Scioto
street, died of pleurisy Sunday at
the home of his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Joseph Rath, 510 Gates street.
Two brothers, Joseph and William
Rath, and three sisters, Misses
Matilda, Anna and Elizabeth Rath
survive. Funeral arrangements in
charge of Maeder Brothers &
Sebitzky.
WAYMON PERFECT
Waymon Perfect, 77, Civil war
veteran, died of cancer Sunday at
his home, 1467 Thomas avenue. His
wife and three daughters survive.
Funeral services at 10 a.m. Tuesday
at the Presbyterian church at Kil-
born. Burial in Kilborn cemetery.
MRS. ELIZABETH BASSETT
Nrs. Elizabeth Bassett, widow of
Dr. George W. Bassettt, died of com-
plications Monday at Grant Hospital,
following an illess of nine weeks.
The body was taken to the funeral
establishment of the Egan Under-
takig company, 26-30 West Naghten
street, where funeral will be held
at 8 a. m. Tuesday. Services at St.
Joseph's cathedral, Broad and Fifth
streets, at 8:30 a. m. For several
months before her illness, Mrs. Bas-
sett lived at the Lenox hotel. Mrs.
Stephen Potter of Delaware is a
sister.
MRS. MATILDA JACKSON
Duneral services for Mrs. Matilda
Jackson, 44, colored, who died of
tuberculosis, Friday at the Columbus
State Hospital, will be held at 1:30
p. m. Tuesday at J. W. Adams' fun-
eral establishment, 641 East Long
street. Burial in Walnut Hill ceme-
tery.
LILLIAN FREELAND
Lillian Freeland, 7-months-old
daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Charles
Freeland, colored, 1071 Bennett street,
died of whooping cough Monday.
Funeral services at 1:30 p. m. Wed-
nesday at the residence. Burial in
Green Lawn by C. D. White & Son.
