Tammy: I am not family related but did a quick search on line and came up with the following:
1. Death Certificate for LEWIS LAYNE: Born 10-2-1843 Ohio and died 3-21-1932 in Gallia. Death due to "Broncho Pneumonia" Father: James. B. LayneMother: Sarah Hawkins Burial: Church of God (Note: Picture of his grave found on FindAGrave.com.He is buried in the Big Four Cemetery.Big Four Cemetery in Section 26 of Hannan Trace Road on top of hill just above RT 7 in Ohio Township.20 tombstone and 10 unmarked.
2. Missouri Mooney born 2-18-1850 and died 5-19-1884 at the age of 33 yrs 3 mos 1 dy. She is buried in the Mooney Cemetery. Apparently there is a marker for her..Note: According to Gallia Co Cemetery listing the Mooney Cemetery is located in Section 34 of the NE Side Stewart Road.2 tombstones only..

Cannot locate in 1870 census..although married in 1868..
IN 1900 census ALEWIS M. LAYNE born 10-1844 Age 55 WD living with his daughter EFFIE L. WARREN born Oct 1883 Age 16 with husband NEWTON WARREN born March 1872 Age 28
