Longview State Hospital in Hamilton County, Ohio was an institution for the mentally ill. It is now a psychiatric hospital called the Pauline Warfield Lewis Center. I found some interesting history of Longview at genealogybug.com/ohio. There is a Longmont Hospital in Colorado. Hooe this helps.
