Steve, thank you so much for such a quick response.I wasn't very sure that I would get an answer at all.I've been looking for this Bradfield family for decades.There were Bradfields in Highland (mostly Quakers) and in Clinton, but I cannot connect my Sarah Catherine (great grandmother) and her son Ezra (Nathan)to any of the Bradfields known to be living in that area at that time.I'll keep trying.Again, thank you for your time and efforts.Since you appear to be a professional, can you tell me if deaths were recorded at that time (late 1860s).Sarah Catherine could have been a young widow, or this could be an illegitmate birth.I've never found a male associated with her until she married or remarried my great grandfather John (Jack) Andrew Allen in 1876.
