Thank you very much again, Steve.Sarah Catherine is such a mystery.There was a John Bradfield in the 1840 census in Wayne Twp., Clinton Co., OH.That was the county she was supposedly born and died in.I have checked her out in Clinton and was advised that her records may be in Highland because it's just over the border.But the John Bradfield of 1840 had moved to Coles Co., IL by 1850.Ihave thought she may have married one of John's sons, but they too moved on to IL.There's more to this story, and I'm thinking of hiring a professional genealogy researcher to see if I've overlooked something.This is my only "brick wall" family, and I'm having a hard time giving up on it.Thank you again for all your help.
