The marriage record book shows the names as Boeter Brown and Cassander Clearwaters. The McBrides used the spelling in the original record. I hought perhaps it was Bowater (pronounced Bo-etter) but the handwriting could be poor enough that it could be Booker.
Re your other post, I don't see the name Trumpure (or anything like it) anywhere. There is no Minnie Staley in the marriage records. A few Staley females marrrying Miller, Anderson and Nolan surnames. Or is this couple much later on?
