Same "fella", new hints.very little documentation!
Parents: Barton Hooper & Catherine (unk)
A hint that she could have been Catherine Beemer??
Ch:Benjamin b/a/1802"VA"(my line)m/Harriet Cowgill/Choguill
Lemuel b/a/1804 Mt.Pleasant?, Jeff Co. Ohio
William b/a/1807 OH
Margaret b/a/1811OH
Hannah b/a/1812OH
John b/?David b/?Thomas b/a/1822.OH
Two later desc. were named John Barton.

In the 1820 census of Mt. Pleasant, Jeff Co., Ohio shows Barton 45 or older (b/before 1775) and there were two unnamed/unfound females older than Benjamin b/1802.

John d/a/1827and after 1830 census, Catherine migrated to the Morgan/Athens Cos of Ohio

There was a John (with land records) & a Jesse Hooper in early rcords of Harrison Co., Ohio.

There was a Stephen Hooper in early Mt. Pleasant, Jefferson Co., Ohio b/ New Jersey & wife, Isabella.

In 1818, there was a Barton Hooper that received land in McDonough Co., IL as result of the War of 1812. No hints that he developed this land.

Also hint for a Barton Hooper on the Personal Tax List of Frederick Co., VA 1796-1802

Also hint for a Barton Hooper that sumitted an application to operate an "ordinary" in Fairfax Co., VA about 1800.

Also hint for a Barton Hooper BORN ABOUT "1800" m/a/1821 Margaret Ward in Fauquier Co., VA.

All these hints and NO CONNECTIONs found for MY Barton Hooper.
