Joshua W. Gosnell & Sarah Savage Licking Co Oh 1840

Attempting to find information concerning Joshua W. Gosnell b. est 1792 who resided in Harlem, Delaware Co Ohio in 1850 with wife Sarah Savage b. est 1805 and several children. Joshua married Sarah Savage in Muskingum Co Ohio in Dec 1827.

Joshua W. is listed as living in Newton, Licking Co Ohio in the 1840 census. I am aware of another Joshua Gosnell with son Joshua living in another town in Licking Co at the same timeframe but do not believe they are the same Joshua.

At least a couple of Joshua’s and Sarah’s children birthplace is listed as Licking Co Ohio therefore I believe Joshua and Sarah were there in 40s and moved to Delaware Co in late 40s.

I find daughter Harriet b. abt 1836, son Homer P b. abt 1849 and son Joshua S. b. abt 1842 in 1860 census of Hancock Co Illinois.

I find son James b. abt 1830 with wife Julia in 1870 (suspect Knox Co) Missouri Census. Joshua’s son Homer P. b. abt 1849 was living with brother James in Missour in the 1870 census. Homer P and wife are living in Knox Co Missouri in the 1880 census.

Death documents of one of Joshuas sons indicates "Rev Joshua Wesley Gosnell" as his father and Sarah Savage as his mother.?
