In the meantime, I found out more information from my friend.
First of all, it seems I had the year of death wrong: it's 1917 (not 1933).
Actually, date of death seems to be August 17, 1917.
The 3 children he left at home received an important sum of money as inheritance, but only in 1925.On a document relating to this inheritance that their descendants have, there is a number (like a document ID number): G4958 / 4 -1917.
