Methodists dedicate Church at Port Jefferson

Ohio, Sidney Daily news 19 Dec 1951. The Pastor was Harold Kellogg. A history of the church was given. First organized in 1845 and met in homes until a church was located north east of the school house. A Parsonage was east of the school house. In 1863 the present building was erected with Rev. I. N. Smith the pastor. Up until this time 25 different men had served the congregation as Pastors. In 1899 Rev. J. G. Hall served while a new parsonage was built. In 1923 the church basement was added.
On July 9 1950 the church was damaged by fire; by Easter 1951 the Sanctuary was completed.
In the 1920 Rev E. J. Williams was pastor. Wondering if someone knows who Rev. Williams was. Does someone know the history that was given in 1951?
