Jacob M. / Lemuel / Enoch Forsythe Family / Rachel McCashen

I am especially interested in finding the parents of Lemuel Forsythe, father of Enoch. Lemuel is living in Perry Twp in the 1850 OH census, with an Elizabeth, listed as "Mother".
I am also interested in a Jacob Forsythe, who married Rachel McCashen in 1868.
The households of Lemuel, Enoch, and Jacob are near one another in the 1880 OH census.
My wild hypothesis is that Jacob M. Forsyth is the same one born 1824 in Washington Co. MD, who married Elizabeth Dickerhoof, born 1828 PA., died 1876 Shelbyville Il.
Jacob and Elizabeth are both buried in Shelbyville Il, which is an interesting story, but I am wondering if he may have also married Rachel McCashen.
