Hi,

The location of the 'Clark Chapel Cemetery' is not in Van Wert County Ohio. It is located in Indiana - just west of the Ohio Indiana Line.The GPS coordinates are Latitude 40.89911, and Longitude -84.82382.

I believe it is Adams County, Indiana, and you can easily find it on 'Google Maps'. I'm not sure how to describe these rural streets, but it is on the west side of 'N 600 E-1' just south of 'E 1050 N'

There are many Hitchcock's buried there including Isaac Hitchcock (1831 - Feb5th 1899). You can locate an index for this cemetery on 'findagrave.com'.

My question for you is - WHERE WAS THE CHURCH THAT WENT ALONG WITH THIS CEMETERY ?! Where did these Hitchcock's actually attend church? They were my ancestors as well.

Be careful not to confuse this with another 'Clarks Chapel' in southern Indiana near Louisville Kentucky.
