I am familiar with the sites that you have posted. Oklahoma Genweb & Rootsweb site is a good site.
I am a African-American genealogist an historian. However, my mother's family was of the French-Cajun decendant. They came to Oklahoma and settled in Okmulgee County around 1907-1910. On my Okmulgee website, you will see the family crest and arms of her family history, La Tour and Le Blanc. Also you can click on the pictures and they will direct you to the family tree and history of said picture.
This site contains also the Creek Indian Chief's, from the earlier Trail of Tears to the late 1970's. With the section also will come the slaves of the Creek Indians and the Creek Feedman.
I have been waiting to do Okmulgee for sometime now and now is the time to see Okmulgee genealogy from an African American point of view.
