From Payne County Probate Index, Jim Curran, probate file #3759, adm.In Payne County Probate Appearance Docket book 10, page 356, the petition for probate was filed on Jan. 5, 1955, final decree March 15, 1955, and final discharge January 15, 1957.Receipts and disbursements were made to Mrs. Meta Curran.

James Allan Curran married Robin Lynn Harral, 9/2/1976, and is in book 41, page 283.
Helen Marie Curran married Max Henry Johnson, 12/31/1947, and is in book 26, page 52.
In Payne County marriage book 31, page 366, Mrs. Meta Vie Curren, age 53, white, residence Stillwater, was married to Earl Pierce Hanks, age 64, white, residence Sweetwater, Nolan Co., Texas, by G.L. Messenger, minister, First Christian Church of Stillwater, on December 14, 1960 with witnesses Weldon E. Curran and Stephen Klosinski, both of Stillwater.They are not listed in the Strode Funeral Home records.

"Curran Services Set for Thursday
Funeral services for James Curran will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Strode chapel with the Very Rev. Eric Beavers officiating.
Curran, 49, died Tuesday at the Stillwater Municipal hospital.Interment will be in the Fairlawn cemetery.
At the time of his death, Curran was the operator and owner of the Curran-Au-Tel, 315 N. Main.He was born Jan. 28, 1905 at Kansas City, Mo., and married Neta McIntosh in Perry in 1925.
Before coming to Stillwater he lived at Ceres in Noble county, where he attended school.He operated a tourist court and store on Perkins Road.In 1942 he built a tourist court on N. Main, which he sold in 1945.He built the Curran Au-Tel in 1946.
His widow, one son, Weldon, and his mother, Mrs. Rosie Curran, survive him.Other survivors include one brother, John, of Perry, and a sister, Mrs. Nellie Hanks of Clinton.
Pall bearers will be Floyd King, Pat Garner, W.W. Hall, Johnnie Curran, Glenn Hemphill and Harold L. Holmes."
