Ed Anderson and wife Matildia

I am looking for information on Edward Thomas Anderson.Born 1854 in Cal. He and wife Matildia Randles Anderson lived in Gilliam Co. for 5 or 6 years before she had to get a divorce as he deserted her. They were married 31 Jan.1876 in Shasta Co.Cal.I have the divorce papers and also Matildia's death certificate.She worked in a hotel doing wash to support herself and daughter.They were divorced in 1888.

They had a daughter Mary who was born in Shasta Co,Cal. in 1878.She is my great grandmother.Ed's papers were tried to be served on him in Boisie, Id as that is where he said he was going when he left. They couldn't serve the papers.

I didn't know whether to try this message board or find out if anyone at a lib. or historical society could find anything.I have info on his background.His father was Isaac Anderson and his mother Mary Ann Cameron.The family seemed to think he died by 1912 but no one one knows anything. Guess it's silly to try to find out where he died or what happened to him.

Any advice would be appreciated.
