The obituary of May Matilda WILLIS appeared in the Hood River News of 10 June 1955, page 7, columns 5, 6 and 7.(I intend to send you a scanned copy by private e-mail.)

Among other things it said she was survived by three brothers, all named COOK.It's not a certainty, but that would be a good guess at her maiden name.
