I come across records for the Rev. John Doty quite frequently, as my ancestors also settled in and around Sorel.Oddly enough, I just came across a reference today mentioning land that John Doty bought / exchanged with Adam Graves.In it, it mentions John Doty's heir.It's a long document regarding lands sold to John Doty, so you'll have to read through it carefully.
