I am looking for any information on TRAXLER family in SC. They were in the Orangeburg District of SC during the late 1790's and early 1800's. John TRAXLER b.1700's had two children: (1)MARY ELLA TRAXLER, b. Jan 18, 1811, Colleton Co, SC, d. jun 15,1857. She m. JOHN COLLIER, b.Jun 06,1806, Colleton Co, SC, d.Jun 15,1857, Shiloh, Rankin Co, MS (2)SIMEON HENRY TRAXLER, b.1807 in SC, m. ANN MILDRED COLLIER. Thier son was THOMAS E.D. TRAXLER. The JOHN COLLIER who m. MARY ELLA was the nephew of ANN MILDRED COLLIER (Ann's father was JOHN COLLIER, m. RACHEL RAINER). The TRAXLER, CROOK, MYERS, RHODES, BROWN and COLLIER families left SC c1825 and 1828 and settled in Rankin Co, MS around the area referred to as 'Shiloh', which is south of Pelahatchie, MS, evidently all part of a 'caravan' from SC to MS.
