Thanks for your reply, the directions I have begin at Silverstreet, which is south west not northwest of the Newberry Courthouse, and in the vicinity of Beaverdam Creek, Mudlick Creek, and little River where Isaac's father (Francis) and uncles (Isaac, William, and Joseph) had land grants obtained 1769 to 1774. What is the source of your information, please?
Isaac's first wife is my direct line, I do not have her name. Their children were Betsy, Willis, Betty, Rachel, Sally and William, my g g g grandfather. Isaac was born 4/3/1754, Granville Co., NC, died 6/26/1815. it is his grave I seek. Isaac joined the local militia during the Revolutionary War, but regrettably, the one loyal to the crown. I know of another researcher who has visited the site, he just cannot remember exactly how to get there.
