Jennie...James Miller is my 5th GGF, had dau. Mary Molly Miller that married my 4th GGF ,Peter Huskey,Jr.. Also possibly a dau. Isabella Miller m. Thomas Hearst, all lived in SC before migrating to Sevier Co.,Tenn. for a few years ,1804-1809, then the familys went to Union Co.,Ill.,1808-1809 and are on record in the Louisiana Territorial Pappers in 1810 in Jefferson Co.,Mo,Upper Louisiana Territory. But all I have on him is that he was possibly a Rev.War vet. and died c.1805 or 1810 and was buried on Sandy Creek which runs through Jefferson Co..There were other Miller familys in Jefferson Co. about the same time and just after, so James could have had a large family. Only an estimate, but if he was a vet. and died in the years mentioned , he could have been born c.1730-1755. As for occupation , your guess is as good as mine, although his son-in-law, Peter was a member of a surveying crew in the early 1750's. Thanks again for showing interest , Al
