Hello Harris,
Thanks for the replay. Yes I too have knowledge of DNA research as I am a BIG believer in DNA testing as you can see in my on-line file.and yes we have in our Parker FG#7 where mutations occur between uncle and nephew of the same family. I was studying DNA testing long before we started using it for genealogy research.
Now having said that I am am a big believer in DNA testing I am an even bigger believer in having a great paper trail as DNA testing is a great tool we can and should be using but it is no good without a paper trail.
Based on my knowledge of Y-DNA testing as my cousin did a 37 marker test and no Johnson match as yet we will wait until we get a Johnson match at the 37 marker level before we test any more beside we are getting 37/37 matches with both Williams and Fowler families that tells me we have had a name change or something.
