Re: Shannons in TN 1780's-1840's

My gg grandfather was William Anderson Shannon.According to Tippah Co. Miss census records he was born in Tenn ca. 1821.He was married to Cynthia Brown also born in Tenn ca. 1814.They had eight children all born in Miss. William died in Tippah Co. Miss. March 30, 1875.I know nothing about his ancestors.Have you run across anything that might help me in your research? Thanks Mel
