Composer Stephen Foster link

Looking for a possible connection to my cousin, Dorothy Enid McPherson Hallock to the composer STEPHEN FOSTER. Her grandmother was Hettie Elnora Jones, her grandfather was John
David Jones,born l847 Tennessee, died September 28, l870 in Carthage,
Jasper, Mo. and her Mother was Elizabeth Foster, bornl840 in
Tennessee, died l904 in Jasper, Missouri. They marriedDec. 20, l860
in Jasper, Missouri. Elizabeth Foster was
married six times. She had a son, Earl Spencer, who looked a
good deal like pictures of Stephen Foster. Other married names included Beeman.I think her Father
was a doctor in Tennessee.
