You didn't say, but is Othello black?I found only one by the name of Othello on the 1880 census anywhere in this country -- Corpus Christi, Nueces Co, TX.Delia might be a nickname for Adele.

If this is the correct family, you might do some research in Nueces Co, TX.Check the GenWeb site for that county, see what they have on their site and be sure to post a query there, too.
I did a real quick check on the archived site for Nueces Co, TX, and there is a record 3 Dec 1876 City of Corpus Christi vs John Booker for drunkness and disorderly conduct.I do not find an adult John Booker on the 1880 Nueces Co, TX census, but note above family has son named John -- maybe for his father? This might be a clue, and would certainly narrow down time of death between 1876 and 1880.I would follow up on this John.
Have you used GenWeb county sites? And,have you also used the archived section of the TX GenWeb Project? If so, just type Booker in the search feature of the archived section and up will come lots of items, # 73 is the city record I found.Take your time, many are too recent for your research, but you might find more, since it is your family and you are familiar with them.
