Hello again John.I see other researchers have skipped on over you, and I can see why.You sure don't make it easy to help you.(^_^)
You say go to #5953, which I did, and there is nothing in that TX forum post about Bowman. So, I went to the Bowman forum and #5953.John, you could have copied and pasted that post to this forum and I think you would have had some good responses.
Since you know when and where Henry Earl Bowman died, have you obtainded a copy of his death certificate? It should show the names of his parents, including his mother and her maiden name.
From the 1860 & 1870 census it looks like Henry P. Bowman was quite well off, have you looked for probate records for him?
By 1920 I pick up Henry E. in IL, and 1930 he's in TX.Haven't pinpointed George in between. On 1900 Hamilton Co, OH, I found a George 43, b OH with son "Harry" born 1888 OH, but that George shows his parents both born in Germany. So, not sure he is right feller.
