I am looking for ancestors of James M. Mitchell, b 1861 in Texas (I think), married Frances Burt in abt 1885 and died in Texas in 1899.I believe they came from Tennessee to Texas abt 1860 and lived in Karnes County and DeWitt County.Could he be a part of your Mitchells?
