Hi,
My great great-uncle was James Milton (Pete) Bonds. Uncle Pete was, to my knowledge, a founding boardmember of the Farmers & Merchants bank, while your great-grandfather was President. I believe he was also two-times mayor of Nocona. And Uncle Pete and his brother, my great-grandfather Jesse, were partners in a cotton gin north of town. Their brother-in-law, by name of Alcorn, had a store there. They all built the church out there, as well. I am currently seeking access into Uncle Pete's original old house to look for any possible remnants of family papers, artifacts, clues, and so forth. Meantime, YES, PLEASE, share your notebooks with me, somehow! Scan, and attach email or post for ftp download? Photocopy and mail? Anything. I'll pay costs. It would be wonderful for my dad and my aunt (very old folks).
Thanks a lot,
Richard Bonds
